mia

Mia Anderson, Ph.D., IGM Certified Practitioner/Instructor
In 1998, Mia received her first body-energy-work session, a CranioSacral / SomatoEmotional Release "treatment". Then she met someone who convinced her to try another "modality" before she committed herself to cranio-sacral therapy training. Mia believes there are no "accidents" or "coincidences". When she learned that there was a wonderful therapeutic acupressure practitioner (Isabell Gatto) right in her hometown, she recognized a sign when she saw it. After experiencing an IGM session she knew that this was what she wanted to learn. Prior to becoming an IGM instructor,
Mia taught at Bergen Community College (Paramus) for 25 years, before taking early retirement in 1998, upon which occasion she was honored with Professor Emerita status. From 1994 to June 2006, she served as assistant director of the prestigious New Jersey Project (based at William Paterson University in Wayne), a statewide project relating to faculty and curriculum development on issues of inclusive higher education (race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class, cultural, and others). Currently, Mia has a full time IGM practice in Ramsey and Hawthorne, NJ.

judi
Judith Rae Davis, Ed.D., IGM Certified Practitioner/Instuctor, IGM Curriculum Co-Director
Judi is a professor of English at Bergen Community College and a volunteer acupressure practitioner in the Palliative Care Program at the Warwich Health Care Campus in Warwick, NY. Judi was introduced to IGM after suffering from migraine headaches for over 30 years. Medications of all varieties did not relieve the headaches. She began to search for alternatives such as Qigong, massage, and yoga. In 1997 she experienced her first IGM session and after three sessions her headaches disappeared. Judi became so curious about how the modality worked that she decided to take the IGM Therapeutic Acupressure Course. Later, after graduating and completed all the advanced courses of study she began a small practice in her home. Five years later, Judi has partnered with Joie Ogrodnick to open the Warwick IGM Acupressure Center.
jer
Jeremiah Nolan, IGM Certified Practitioner/Instructor, IGM Equipment Manager
Jeremiah's introduction to IGM was after a serious accident in 2002, that resulted in serious head trauma and back and shoulder injuries. IGM sessions helped him to heal, decrease his medications, and offered pain relief. Feeling much more than just physically healed, Jeremiah began taking the IGM Therapeutic Acupressure Course. After completing the course a becoming an IGM Therapeutic Acupuressure Certified Practitioner, he was able to help others as he was helped. Jeremiah's favorite saying? "I not only build houses but through IGM help others rebuild their lives." Jeremiah has a private IGM practice in New Milford, NJ.
